-Commends Rep Benson, Ijede Chair, AMA
The Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ikorodu Division, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, has taken the campaign for collective inclusiveness in re – election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Odesanya, who led it’s team to pay a courtesy visit to Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo- Alogba, on Monday, said that he had visited the Chairman, in continuation of his divisional tour to major political stakeholders, to seek their support on his new appointment.
He met the Chairman in her office at the Ijede LCDA Secretariat, Ijede.
”I have come to you following my appointment as the Coordinator of Ikorodu Renewed Hope Agenda, because it’s important to move round so as to ensure inclusivity.
”Tinubu agenda is not a one -man show and it can never be, and if we are truly committed to the ideals of this great man, we will know that beyond our personal sentiments, what is important is to deliver and how do we deliver, is to reach out according to the mandate, to all nooks and crannies, telling the world about what he has done”.
Comrade Odesanya, who lauded Rep. Babajimi Benson, representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba, for their impacts in Ijede, also emphasised that what they have done will also be used in canvassing people to support the re -election of President Tinubu.
”While we were coming, we were diverted to pass another road, and I asked when did they start and complete the Igbopa/Abule Eko Road? This road, I was told, was facilitated by JB and I was marveled, but JB wouldn’t have done that if Mr President didn’t approve of it and that is what we have to sell.
“The whole essence is political education to the electorate and by doing that, we can get more.
”Asiwaju deserves to be re-elected cleanly by Ikorodu electorates and we would do better by engaging the electorate.
”I have not seen anywhere that JB hasn’t touched and these are the things we would use in campaigning and this is the time to pay them back, by coming out en mass to vote, because this is not Japheth’s project but Asiwaju’s project.
”I have also been seeing what your administration has been doing in the area of education, health, social support and infrastructural development. I commend you for the road project that connects the one that JB is doing at Abule Eko, which your administration is constructing.
”Likewise, I want to thank our active Hon. Aro Moshood for his quality representation too”.
He solicited for the Ijede chairman’s support for assignment.
”We need your support. We need your engagement and your involvement so that we can do it together. I know we can get some stakeholders to work with us from you, and that’s why I have come to you to familiarize, even though we know each other very, but we need to familiarize the project with you and seek your acceptance, endorsement, promise and the assurance that we would do it together. This is the message that we will take back to our leaders”, he said.
In her response, Hon . Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, welcome the Renewed Hope team and thanked them for the visit.
While assuring it’s Coordinator of her support, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba said that the agenda is very well known to her.
”What you came here to advertise is an agenda that is well known to me. It’s not a new market because we are all aware of it. This is a project that we are fully involved with. I don’t really have to say Renewed Hope before everyone knows that I am referring to Asiwaju Tinubu.
”So, Renewed Hope is for all of us and just like you said, it’s for everyone and we are all going to work together as long as it’s Asiwaju Tinubu.
”I don’t think that you need any permission or introduction about City Boy, because both the City Boy Movement and the Renewed Hope are for the same purpose and the most important thing is for us to get result”, she said.
